Program
The inescapable pressures of an increasing population and flourishing technology demand a
commitment to responsible environmental stewardship and thorough understanding of our physical
environment. This program is designed to prepare students to understand the scientific, social and
philosophical nature of human interaction with the environment and to contribute solutions to environmental
problems.
Graduates may seek employment as technicians or may continue their studies in a variety of fields
such as engineering, health sciences, business, or agriculture. For example, students may transfer to UW’s
School of Environmental and Natural Resources. Internships may also be available.
