Mathematics

I hold an M.A. in Applied Mathematics and a B.A. in Physics (Astro) and Mathematics from the University of Montana. During my years as a teacher's assistant and instructor I discovered my passion for teaching physics and mathematics.

While at WWCC I will be actively involved in the instruction of both mathematics and physics courses. I also plan to either continue my `` Ice Flow '' research or begin new research that will exploit my background in simulation and modeling.

When I'm not studying, talking, or teaching, I enjoy riding my mountain bike, hiking/backpacking, playing semi-classical guitar, travel, and spending time with my family. I am also a coffee, beer, and jazz/ rock/ folk/ pop music enthusiast.
