Western American Studies

The Speaking of the West series, now in it's fourteenth year, is a community program that brings noted writers, scholars and performers to campus to read from their work, interpret personages from the past, and discuss contemporary western concerns. The focus fo the series is interdisciplinary, and past speakers have included Annie Proulx, Patricia Limerick, Thomas J. Lyon, Richard Etulain and many others.
