Message from the President

Hello, my name is Casey Terrell and I'm from Pinedale, Wyoming! (GO Wranglers) I am currently a second year sophomore at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs, WY. I am Music major, and I enjoy every single day I study music! I will be graduating this May with my Associates of Arts. After I graduate from here, I will then transfer to the University of Wyoming in Laramie. (GO Pokes) I am very excited to really exceed everyone’s expectations this semester in regards to ASG. I hope to have numerous successful events, and have this be an excellent learning opportunity for not only the ASG members but also for the students at WWCC. We will also continue to live by our ASG motto, “Ride for the brand”. This means for us; honesty, loyalty, pride, success, and determination.

Along with being the ASG President, I am also a Resident Assistant here on campus. My responsibility area is down at the third floor of Aspen Mountain Hall. I also play trombone in Jazz 1 and our brass ensemble here at the college. On my weekends I compete with the mustang forensics team traveling around the nation competing in parliamentary debate.  I enjoy hard work and constantly being busy, I love to have fun and laugh, I like adventure and being spontaneous but with a little structure thrown in. I am an avid gamer and I love to discuss politics. I really enjoy meeting new people, and learning about other people and cultures. The outdoors is where I like to spend most of my free time camping, hunting, and having bon fires.
