Dance Team

The dancers are a group that performs and helps keep the energy high at Western Wyoming Community College athletic and other events.  The team is made up of 10-12 talented young ladies and is supported through the WWCC Athletic department. They perform on the court during men’s and women’s basketball home games during halftime and wrestling home meets.

Being a member of the Dance team requires time and dedication. Tryouts are held during Senior day in March. Throughout the year the dancers practice Monday through Thursday from 5-7. There will also be community performances during the year. There is a scholarship available for both semesters. To sustain the scholarship you must maintain a 2.0 GPA and a minimum of 12 credit hours. The team takes pride in combining academics, talent, hard work and fun.
