2009-10 Season Outlook

The 2008-09 season is here for the WWCC women’s basketball team.  The team has gone 107-46 over the past five years and have won 20 or more games a season in the same time frame.

Several players return who either started or played extensive minutes in 2008-09. They include Collette Crystal, 6.8 PPG and 2.6 RPG; Brit Harms, 6.0 PPG and 4.0 RPG; Amanda Jensen, 8.4 PPG and 4.0 RPG; Kami Johnson, 4.3 PPG and 2.8 RPG; Lindee McKinley, 10.6 PPG and 3.0 RPG; and Kada Williams, 8.4 PPG and 2.3 RPG. Other returners are Alexis Bird and Morgan Freestone.

The incoming freshmen will add depth and some could push for a starting birth. "I like our experience back and we think our freshmen post players could be very good," Swartz said.
