Art Castillo
Head Wrestling Coach

Coach Castillo is a 1997 Green River High School graduate. He was a three-time Wyoming state placer and a four-time National Qualifier. As a Team Captain he helped lead his team to three 4A State Team Championships. At Dana College he was also the team captain and GPAC Champion.  Castillo graduated from Dana College in 2003 with a degree in Physical Education/Sports Management. Entering his eighth year as a coach and third year as a head coach of the Mustangs, Coach Castillo has coached 18 All Americans, including 2 two-time All Americans and 2 National Champions.

Assistant Coach Cory Hintz

Cory Hintz graduated from Green River High School in 1997. Hintz then went on to wrestle for Northwest College in Powell, WY, for two years where he was a  Cowboy Open champion, a Region 9 champion and was a 2-time All-American for the Trappers. Hintz then went on to wrestle for the University of Southern Colorado. While at USC, Hintz tallied up 2 RMAC regional titles, 2 Colorado collegiate titles, 2 Tracy Borah open titles, a USC open champion, and earned two more All-American titles for the Thunderwolves. After college, Hintz enlisted in the United States Navy where he served overseas for almost 7 years in Japan and Greece. Hintz returns home to reunite with his former high school and college teammate, Coach Castillo.
