Singer/songwriter/guitarist Bob Lind will perform in concert on Monday, May 14, at 7 PM in the Grace Gasson Room of the White Mountain Library. Sponsored by WWCC’s Cultural Affairs Committee and Sweetwater BOCES, the concert is free and open to the public. Lind is a poetic and powerful songwriter, best-known for his song “Elusive Butterfly” which climbed to #5 on the pop charts in 1966. Since that time, Lind’s songs have been recorded by over 200 artists, including Eric Clapton, Cher, Aretha Franklin, Glen Campbell, Dolly Parton, Johnny Mathis, Richie Havens, the Kingston Trio, and the Lettermen. Lind has also written several novels, and was featured as the subject of film-maker Paul Surrat’s documentary, “Perspective.” |
