The David
Reiss Memorial Community College
Scholarship is awarded each year by the Wyoming
Archaelological Society, Inc. and the recipient is
announced at the annual spring meeting.
The amount of the scholarship is currently
$500.
The
scholarships are awarded to community college second
semester freshmen or sophomores in
Anthropology, Archaeology,
History, American Studies or Military
subdiscipline.
Criteria:
Applicant must have maintained at least a 3.0
overall GPA and must have verified satisfactory
course work in Anthropology, Archeology, History,
American Studies or Military History.
Students
must complete the application and submit with it a
copy of their transcripts.
Applications can be picked up in the WWCC Financial
aid office of you can download it by

SCHOLARSHIP - $500.00
Big Sun Organization offers an annual
scholarship to a deserving student to help young
athletes succeed in their academic pursuits.
All student athletes are eligible for this award,
regardless of which sport they are participating in.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program
They award up to $1,000 to the winner each year.
Application process:

ARMA Wyoming Scholarship
Association of Records Managers and
Administrators (ARMA) annual $500 award to be used
in a single semester only.
Applicant must be a senior in a Wyoming High School
or a current Wyoming College student with a GPA of
2.5 or higher pursuing a career in business,
records, and/or information management.
If a current college student, applicant must be
enrolled as a full time student (12 credit hours) at
a Wyoming Community College or the University of
Wyoming in the fall semester of 2011.
If currently attending a Wyoming College, applicant
must provide a transcript that shows successful
completion of at least one 3 credit course in
business, records, and/or information management.
Deadline is April 1,
2011.

Sweetwater Snowpokes Snowmobile Club Scholarship
They will award a onetime $500 scholarship and two onetime $250 scholarships.
Criteria:
1.) Applicant must be a high school senior or a
currently enrolled college or trade school student.
2.)Entries will not be judged by financial need.
3.) Applicant must be a member of the Sweetwater
Snowpokes (applications are attached if not
currently a member).
4.) Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the
college of the student's choice (in or out of the
State of Wyoming).
5.) A 2-3 page essay in 12 point Times New Roman
font, double spaced in response to the following
question is required: What does snowmobiling mean to
you? Please include in your response: how you got
started, why you enjoy it, how or why you will be
involved in the sport in the future.
The Snowpokes Scholarship Committee will choose the
successful applicants and notify them by June 1,
2011.
Funds will be sent to the college/university of
attendance.
LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!

Scholarship:
For outstanding undergraduate students
majoring in Information Technology-related
curriculum programs at eligible institutions (WWCC
is an eligible institution). Datatel Scholars
Foundation scholarships are awarded to undergraduate
students currently attending eligible Datatel client
institutions (WWCC is an eligible institution).
Awards range in value from $1,000 to $2,500
