Hello! As the assistant GEAR-UP coordinator here at Western Wyoming Community College, I help recruit high school students into the program and help coordinate the various activities that we have on-campus and in the schools. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call or stop by my office at any time!
I’m a proud Wyoming native who grew up in Torrington, graduated from high school there and then attended the University of Wyoming. I graduated from UW in 1995 with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism. I had no intentions of staying in the state, due to my degree, but married a man who loves this wonderful state I am now proud to call home.
My husband and I have two boys with whom we stay very active with in sports and outdoor activities. We’re die hard Cubs fans and love going camping, fishing and hunting especially in the awesome Wind River Mountains.
I am also the cheerleading coach here at WWCC. GO MUSTANGS! Cheerleading has been a huge part of my life, having cheered in high school all four years, one year at the University of Wyoming and four years coaching at Rock Springs High School. Being the coach here at WWCC has definitely been the most exciting and challenging for me.
I truly enjoy being at WWCC. I love the energetic atmosphere of working at this college and enjoy working with the variety of students.
