POLICY 5520A:
ELIGIBILITY FOR HOUSING

The College has established clear guidelines for who can live in on-campus housing. During the summer, the guidelines are more restrictive for students.

PROCEDURE 5520A:
ELIGIBILITY FOR HOUSING

Students, staff, resident assistants, or the Housing Director may live in on-campus housing under the following conditions. The conditions for housing for students, however, are different during the summer.

Students

    Regular Academic Year

    Students must be enrolled at WWCC full-time. The spouse and dependent(s) of any eligible student are also eligible to live on campus,.

    Or,

    They must be involved in articulated programs with the University of Wyoming if the student's total credit hours from WWCC and/or University of Wyoming equals at least 12 credits. The Vice President for Student Learning will determine if a program will be considered an "articulated program".

    Summer Term

    Three categories of student may live in on-campus housing during the summer:

    Returning students who have pre-registered and paid for at least 12 credit hours for the coming fall semester.

    Students who are enrolled in regularly scheduled summer classes, workshops, or seminars. Housing, however, is limited to available suites, and students may stay only as long as the summer course lasts.

    Students who are enrolled in articulated programs such as those taught by other colleges, at times, on this campus. Students, however, must have either been full-time students during the previous spring semester or must have been in an articulated program in the previous spring semester. Furthermore, housing will be limited to available suites, and students may only stay as long as the summer course lasts.

Staff

    Faculty or staff may temporarily stay in on-campus housing is space is available.

Resident Assistant

    Resident Assistants hired for working in the fall semester must live in on-campus housing.

Director of Housing

    The Director of Housing may live in on-campus housing at the discretion of the administration.
