The Board may establish such standing and special committees as it finds necessary to carry out its responsibilities.

PROCEDURE 7310D:
BOARD COMMITTEES

The Board may establish such standing and special committees as if finds necessary to carry out its responsibilities.

The Board President will appoint members to serve on Board committees, Board-staff committees, community bodies, and other groups in which the Board participates.

Meetings of Board committees will be open to all Board members, staff and the public.

No action will be taken by a Board committee. A committee will examine matters that fall within the realm of its assigned responsibilities and will report its findings and recommendations to the Board.

The Board reserves the right to dissolve a standing or special committee at any time.
