Only 15% of a student’s time at college is spent in the class room and preparing for the class room.  For the residence hall student, most of the remaining time is spent in the residence halls.  For over thirty years Western Wyoming Community College has supported the premise that on-campus housing is a living learning center and not just a place to store students between classes. 

This living learning center plays an important part in the student’s development at WWCC.  Group living in a college setting is a social and broadly educative set of experiences.  Interaction with people from other geographical areas, many of whom belong to other religions and races, broadens the student’s perspective of life and its many component cultures.  Living on-campus is strongly recommended for those individuals wishing to get the most out of their higher education experience.
